Arrive at Johannesburg International, South Africa.

Your host will meet you at the arrivals lounge with a “GID Photo Safaris” sign along with your name printed on the board.

From the airport, you will depart to your 1st night’s accommodation on the Mpumalanga Highveld for a refreshing overnight rest, and to rid yourself of all the travel cobwebs accumulated.

Day 2 – 8

Depart for Kruger National Park.

For the next seven days, we will explore the best that the Kruger National Park has to offer. We will travel through the Kruger Park and surrounds in the comfort of a Toyota Land Cruiser for the best photographic experience.

Dependent on our location in the Kruger Park each morning we will aim to move out of the camp as soon as the gates open. We will explore both known, as well as lesser known watering holes watching out for wildlife coming down for an early morning drink before the African heat warms the day up.

Not only will we seek out the Big 6 wildlife animals, but also the 150 unique species of mammals, 550 species of birds, and 14 species of reptiles that calls the Kruger Park home. Typically a surprise awaits you around each corner to photograph and enjoy.

A picnic lunch will be prepared to allow us to continue appreciating the African bush surroundings once the fresh air stirs an appetite.

We will spend the nights in one of the Kruger Park’s camps around a fire while dining and reliving the day’s adventure and working through the photographs of the day.

The purpose of the Lowveld & Kruger Safari is to focus on incredible wildlife photos and taking your photography to the next level while learning about Africa and its environment.

You will be guided throughout the Lowveld & Kruger Park Safari by one of our guides that will enhance your knowledge and insights of not only nature but also local history and cultures.

Should you have any other specific requirements, you are welcome to ask your host for expert advice as this is a tailor-made safari.
